Our Green World products represent our vision of chemical products that have a minimal impact on the environment without making any quality compromises. Only those products that fulfill our strict criteria are selected for the Green World brand. Green World products are safer for both health and environment and no protective gear is needed when using them.
Green Step is a stage in the continuous process of developing products for our Green World line. We apply the same principles for products that don’t reach the criteria for Green World – we minimize the impact on health and environment as much as possible without affecting the function and quality of the product.
Our products are made to last which benefits your wallet and the environment! You need to order fewer items which means less waste and the products take up less space in your storage while, at the same time, you get efficient solutions for your workshop.
Reducing greenhouse gases is an important goal for VEIDEC and most companies.
VEIDEC therefore replaces the traditionally produced, from oil and gas, propellants DME and Gasol (propane, butane and isobutane) in the aerosols, for green certified DME and Gasol.
These, with exactly the same chemical composition, are formed as a by-product in the production of biodiesel, which in turn is produced from sustainable raw materials. In this way the CO2 emission is substantially reduced and thus provides a major step forward in the sustainability work.
VEIDEC expects the measure to result in annual savings of approx. 100 tonnes.
We use a minimum of propellants and solvents in our aerosol cans to increase the quality content. This lessens the impact on the environment as we can cut down on packaging material, shipping and use of energy.
Independently made certifications means that you can feel safe in the fact that we live up to your highly set expectations. Since 2002 we are certified according to the quality management standard ISO-9001 and to ISO-14001, the standard for environmental management systems.
ISO 9001 is a quality management standard that provides guidance and tools for companies to ensure the continuous improvement of quality of their products and services.
ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized standard for environmental management systems.
NSF International develop public health and safety standards. Products marked with NFS are safe for use in processing and production of food.
TÛV develop technical standards and inspects and certifies industrial processes and products. Their commitment to independence and strict requirements have made them into one of the most well regarded quality certifiers.
The CE certification mark indicates compliance with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA).
ISEGA is an independent test and certification body for a multitude of areas, such as chemistry, physics, microbiology, sensory analyses and compostability.
DVGW is a German Technical and Scientific Association for the gas and water sector. It develops technical standards and certifications, for example: anaerobic seals for threaded metal joints in gas applications.
The Water Regulations Approval Scheme (WRAS) is an independent UK certification body for plumbing products and materials, helping business and consumers choose compliant products that keep water safe.
