Team Rynkeby – God Morning is part of a European charity project which every year raises money for children with cancer and their families. The participants are organized in different teams that cycle together down to Paris.
Team Rynkeby was founded in 2002 in Denmark, when 11 exercise cyclists connected to the Danish juice producer Rynkeby Foods A/S decided to cycle to Paris to see the ending of the Tour de France.
Today Team Rynkeby consists of 2,400 exercise cyclists and 550 assistants divided into 59 local teams from Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, The Faroe Islands, Iceland, Germany and Switzerland.
The participants are selected from thousands of applicants who have filled in the application form on Team Rynkeby’s website.
The money goes to children with serious illnesses
For most of a year the participants must not only be adle to cycle just over 1,200 km to Paris – they also undertake to make an effort to raise money for children with serious illnesses.
VEIDEC Silver Eagle Racing by GetSpeed is a Belgian team competing in the Belcar Endurance Championship with two AMG Mercedes GT4 cars. VEIDEC Silver Eagle Racing by GetSpeed is run by Wim Spinoy, whom together with the experienced and merited German Kenneth Heyer sits behind the wheel in one the cars. Frans and Michaël Cool is the driver pair for the other car.
The car, a Mercedes-AMG GT4, is based off the Mercedes-AMG GT R and has a 4-litre V8 engine with 510 horsepower, a six speed sequential gearbox and a race adapted traction control system from AMG – 0-100 km/h in less than 4 seconds!
The VEIDEC Silver Eagle Racing by GetSpeed partnership is part of the international expansion of VEIDEC. The Belcar Endurance Championship attracts plenty of competitors and lots of spectators with strong events in the Benelux region.
VEIDEC has a long standing partnership with Kristoffersson Motorsport where the two-time world rallycross champion Johan Kristoffersson is a winner on both the Swedish and the international arena.
In 2018, Johan Kristoffersson won his second world rallycross championship title and also managed to win, for the second time, the prestigious Scandinavian Touringcar Championship, STCC. This year, Johan is challenging for the Swedish Rally Championship together with Volkswagen Dealer Team Bauhaus.
Rally is one of the most extreme forms of motorsport where both cars and drivers are put to the toughest challenges imaginable. The Swedish Rally Championship is run over six weekends, on all surfaces and in all kinds of weather conditions.
Together with VEIDEC, Scuderia Autoropa, takes on the challenge of one of the worlds most prestigious global sportscar championships, the Ferrari Challenge, where Scuderia Autoropa takes part in the European division. Every season ends with a world finale where drivers from the whole world fight for the honours.
Martin Nelson has driven for Scuderia Autoropa since 2008. On his way to Ferrari Challenge, Martin has won three overall Swedish GT championship titles together with drivers such as Richard Göransson and Mattias Andersson. Martin has two runner up championship finishes in Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli AM to his credit.
Ferrari Challenge celebrated its 25 year jubilee in 2017 by introducing the Ferrari 488 Challenge, a racecar that has won the hearts of the Ferrari fans with its combination of performance and design.
VEIDEC has been a class sponsor and technical partner to the RX2 International Series, the support category to the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The RX2 International Series, with seven races on three continents gives VEIDEC global exposure in the most explosive form of motorsport there is.
RX2 International Series is the category where the rallycross stars of tomorrow are born. The championship gives young talents the opportunity to compete on the international scene with the hope to make the progression to the FIA World Rallycross Championship.
